Description:

The department of Mathematics is looking for students to assist Math faculty with general teaching assistance/grading responsibilities. Responsibilities may include:

  • Grading assignments
  • Inputting grades and attendance
  • Assisting professors as requested

Duties and workload will vary depending on the assigned professor and classes.

Qualifications:

  • Must have and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Must have taken and passed any Math classes that you are assigned to
  • Must be able to follow directions from professors and /or supervisors
  • Must be honest, presentable, and punctual
  • Have experience in teaching assistance/grading is preferred
  • Knowledge of CANVAS and grading rubrics would be helpful
